The Fallen Kingdom

    The Fallen Kingdom

    Drawing by @fredericforest

Light blue was the color he borrowed from the sea,
To fill his eyes and ensorcell me…

And his hair must have been painted during a rainy October,
A so dark brown l fail to get over…

Oh and his chest must have been a piece of heaven,
In which all of my fears only seemed to lessen…

Yet, in the realm of his love I was not the queen

I tasted weakness, and distance I have seen

But the bells warned me, oh the bells used to sing

That in his own kingdom, my darling was not the king…
