With the evolution of the film industry, there has been a growing emphasis on the importance of good representation. This includes positive changes such as the inclusion of storytellers from the represented cultures, allowing them to express their views and cultures. In 2021, Disney released Encanto, which emphasized hiring individuals from the culture depicted. Unfortunately, not all movies succeed at showcasing other cultures properly, with many relying on incorrect or even harmful stereotypes.
